The interior is defined by a restrained palette of warm timber, soft neutrals and deep, contrasting joinery, creating a calm and cohesive setting for contemporary living.
A continuous built-in shelving system forms the architectural spine of the living space, integrating open display niches with concealed storage. Its dark finish introduces depth and contrast against the lighter walls and upholstery, while books, objects and greenery bring texture and a personal layer to the interior.
The living, dining and kitchen areas are conceived as a continuous sequence, with timber flooring extending throughout to reinforce visual continuity. At the far end of the apartment, a full-width opening draws natural light deep into the space, softened by floor-to-ceiling curtains that create a diffused backdrop to the dining area.
Lighting is carefully layered to respond to the different qualities of the interior throughout the day. Recessed architectural lighting is complemented by decorative pendants, table lamps and floor lamps, creating warmer, more intimate pools of light in the evening while maintaining the clarity of the overall design.
Materiality is deliberately restrained, balancing natural timber, textured fabrics, warm off-whites and dark cabinetry with subtle artwork and decorative elements. The result is an understated contemporary interior in which proportion, light and materiality take precedence over ornament, creating a home that feels both composed and lived-in.
