NORFOLK
The first intervention in this space was the introduction of an elliptical arch, which visually distinguishes the dining area from the kitchen. The previously installed flat gypsum soffit over the kitchen was removed to reveal the limestone ‘xorok’ ceiling, found to be in good condition. The kitchen layout is symmetrical, featuring a custom-made hood that seems to extend from the wall, making it the focal point of the kitchen. The oak kitchen unit showcases great detail, with each door featuring solid frames that add a layer of depth and shadows. The new patterned tiles match the character of the rest of the townhouse.
